3 types of Botox: What is best for you?

Every year that passes by these persistent wrinkles seem to get more and more intense at the area of the forehead, the point between the eyebrows and the “goose foot”.

The term “Botox” is used to define a procedure, but a lot of different competing products are available in the market.
In 2002 the product Botox was approved by FDA for the therapy of wrinkles and for 7 years it was the only product in the market until 2009 when its competitor Dysport appeared, for the same use. In 2012 another new product was added, Xeomin.

A comparative study was performed in which Dysport & Botox were applied to the same people with a different product from the one and the other half of the face, in an effort to reduce “goose foot”.
2/3 of the participants preferred Dysport for its result and long-term duration.

In the end, it seems that there are fine differences between the effectiveness of the three products.
A reliable plastic surgeon could surely consult you more, personalizing a therapy for the wrinkles with one of the three products aiming for the best possible result.
